Spaceman Alliance is a puzzle game for Android that I created using unity in a group project at university.
The group I made this game in was myself (acting as team leader and programmer), an artist and one other.
I enjoyed working with the artist as he was always very good at doing his work on time and produced high quality work. He was also very understanding when I asked for assets in a specific pixel size, which some artists can take issue with.
As team leader I needed to assign tasks to the artist but as I know art is a creative process and that he would not want to be streesed by me asking for a specific artwork to be done by a set date for most artwork I added it to an art specific backlog so he could choose what he wanted to work on and when. For the backlog I made sure that I included any necessary details about the artwork on the task so he would know exactly what requirements that art had for example a pixel size.
For my role as the programmer of the group I did all of the programming and other tasks needed in Unity in order to get the game playable and working on Android. I was also in charge of publishing the game to the Google Play Store.
Here is a video of the game:
During this project I learnt about mobile development and publishing along with having the opportunity to produce an interesting game.
The game has been released on the Google Play Store and can be found here
