To begin the game was submitted on time and I am very happy with what my group and I achieved. Below is the video we submitted for the game:
Sunday 14th April
I have finished all of the cutscenes and the code related to them. Everything sill needs a bit of polish for the submission on the 18th however the majority of the work is done.

I have now finished most of the work on the first cutscene and have started work on the second cutscene. Making the cutscenes is a time consuming process when considering camera angles, what animations to use and how long the voice lines are.

Over the last few weeks I have been researching Unity’s timeline feature. I would have loved to immediately start practicing with it in the game however until the levels have their assets placed/laid out anything I do would need to be changed in future to line up with the assets positions e.g. sitting on a chair.

Since the last blog entry, I have been working on the text boxes stuff I mentioned and it is working very well. It even has support for setting a speakers name and easy ways to add dialogue in the inspector window.

My group and I have spent the last two weeks forming our group and assigning roles/tasks. My role is to make the cutscenes, this means that I will not be touching the narrative in any way as someone far more talented at writing is handling it.
